Hello,
I recently acquired last year from my fathers passing - a 1983 TIMEX SINCLAIR 2068 PERSONAL COLOR COMPUTER PC & Manual & 2040 Printer w/4 extra rolls.
I am looking to find out what is a fair asking price for it all? I have browsed ebay for sold prices but I know thats more to the high price of things.
My dad purchased them new in 1983 and its been the family office since new.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Robb,
Condolences on the passing of your dad.
The TS 2068 has recently gone for $15 - $50 on eBay with a couple going for much more but those high prices were an aberration to my mind. Probably around $50 Would be a usual price with another $10 for the manual. The 2040 Printer would go for between $10 - $20 depending on the condition. The paper is useful but expensive to ship by itself. Just include it with the printer as a package. I still have TWO CASES of paper that I came into and now can't get rid of.
Of course other readers of this forum might have differing views but that's why they make different coloured ties.

Let me join Rod in my condolences...
I also concur with him. Unfortunately our beloved TS 2068 is not worth much at all, as they were not only pretty widely available and also not very popular :(For the amount of money you would get for it I'd keep it as a memento from your dad...
