I received another book in the mail yesterday for the TS2068. This book, "The Timex Sinclair 2068: What Can YOU Do With It?: 50 Programs for the Timex Sinclair 2068," is by Roger Valentine. Here is the table of contents listing:
Preface
1 - Five Easy Pieces - Simple Starters
2 - Play It, Sam - Computer Games
3 - Not Just Your Plaything - Serious Applications
4 - Down Memory Lane - Investigating the Timex Sinclair Memory Map
5 - The Very Pulse of the Machine - Machine Code Routines
6 - Interlude - Totally Silly Programs
7 - A matter of Routine - Useful Subroutines
8 - Art for Art's Sake - Music and Graphics
9 - Under the Spreading Chestnut Tree - Old Favorites
10 - Play it Again Sam - More Games
My book is in fair to good condition (which pleases me), but there is quite a bit of underlining (which doesn't please me). The program listings are quite readable, which I was surprised to see. There are books from this period (the copyright of this book is 1983) that have program listings that cause eyestrain when they are typed-in.
There is a note on the back of the book that says, "Pressed for Time? All 50 programs are available on a convenient cassette-- ready to run and error-free. Buy it at your local computer store, or use the order card inside." Anyone know anything about this? Anyone HAVE this?
Adam
