1. Could these kind of cartridges be developped for the TS2068?

Paul Farrow, a Sinclair enthusiast, has developed custom cartridges
for the Interface 2. The original design only allowed 16K cartridges,
but the new custom design allows for dozens of possibilities. We know
that the TS2068 are completely different in design, but I wonder if
the same thing could be done on the TS2068.
Here's a pdf describing the PCB for the custom cartridge:
http://zxspectrum.zidev.com/zx/ZX_Interface2_ROM_Cartridge_PCB.pdf
And here's Paul's website:

The custom cartridges I ordered from him were:
-Cartridge with 2 16K banks selectable via switch. Each eprom has the
ZX80 and ZX81 emulator, respectively.
-Cartridge with 2 16K banks selectable via switch. First eprom has the
official Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K tester, and the second one has
Paul's own 128K tester.
-Cartrige with ZIF socket for 32K eproms (for 16K games/apps)
-Cartrige with ZIF socket for 64K eproms (for 48K games/apps)
And there's another gentleman in Spanin who did something impressive
as well. A cartridge that uses 512K flash memory to store .sna files
and load them via a built-in menu.

Since the TS2068 already has its own cartridge port, would it be a
good idea to try and do something similar?

This can be easy done using my Universal Memory Cartridge
Board (UMCB-003) connected with Larken Ramdisk board
(68LR-003) and board for TSOP Flash memory I got recently
(CPCF-201).
http://8bit.yarek.pl/interface/ts.cartridge/
http://8bit.yarek.pl/upgrade/ts.memory/

I sold some UMCB configured as ZX Spectrum Emulator
Cartridge, that need OUT 244,3 to be activated.
If someone would like to test the hardware, I can
configure the boards to 512kB Flash or 512kB Flash
plus 32kB SRAM.
I have plans to make a 512kB SRAM + 512kB Flash for Timex.
I was thinking about the IDE40+CF slots, but they take
a lot of space, so perhaps it would be better to use
SD/MMC cards and an AVR microcontroller (there's a project
for Amstrad CPC - CPC Booster - which responds to some
INs and OUTs of Z80CPU, so can simulate devices like
RS232, D/A and A/D coverters, etc.). I need some time to
finish other projects first.
