Anybody know where I can get a spectrum emulator cart for my Timex
2068, and what the best method of feeding the unit programs is?

Any online stores/catalogs still selling addons for these orphaned
computers?

If your wondering I learned to program on mine back in 1983 when I
purchased mine new. Still have it in the original box, and have time
to tinker with it now.

Thanks

Hi, apart for Ebay I would suggest posting your
request to the Spectrum newsgroup. I do recall there
was some talk a couple years ago regarding a couple
people in the Timex Sinclair User group who were
trying to put together a number of emulator
cartridges.

As far as loading programs, I still use my trusty
TS2020 tape deck or I load ".tzx" files via the Taper
utility available on the World Of Spectrum website.
This is a great site and a good starting point for
obtaining downloads for everything Spectrum and even
Timex/Sinclair related. Ok, they might not have much
for the TS2068, but for some reason there is not a big
Timex/Sinclair presence on the net. That is strange
considering the number of TS computers changing hands
on Ebay, etc.

As far as online stores selling peripherals for the TS
computers, apart from Zebra which sells some ZX81
kits, most dealers have been out of business for some
time now. I think the PC effectively killed the 2068!
You can still buy a new disk drive unit for the
TS2068 though from John Oliger. He is most likely the
sole dealer left of accessories.

good luck,

Ok how do I get in contact with Joe for a pricelist?

TS-2068 Equipment is even rare on ebay, which is not surprising considering not many were made and Timex pulled out early.
