I assume that has a different plug/voltage from the usual European standard,

Just remove(the Plug) it an exange it wiith an US plug, no big deal, if its from a place with 220V you will need a Voltage conversor(220V to 120V), also no big deal...

It was a real Didatik Gama, I believe it just had a different case then the one pictured in wikipedia. If you want I have a ton of pics of it.Regards Mark
