An excellent idea by Rich Mellor. If you're an avid ZX81 user I
strongly recommend a visit to this page:

http://www.rwapsoftware.co.uk/zx81/zx81_projects.html

I would also like to mention that Rich is *the* source for quality Sinclair and QL products.

Cheers.

It's looking good so far. It's always nice to see new projects, particularly
in the areas of hardware. I always prefer authenticity, which is why I have
all the original systems I do, but being able to load off of a multi-cart or
flash drive is always preferable in my opinion, because you get to still use
the original hardware, but not have to deal with the original storage
issues, which tend to be the most tedious/unreliable part.

With a Spectrum emulator cart and a twister board (zxbruno below is working on a bulk purchase of the latter) you can use the DivIDE ATA adaptor with the TS2068 (see http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/zxspectrum/twisterboard/DivIDE_on_TS2068_1of2.jpg and http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v400/zxspectrum/twisterboard/DivIDE_on_TS2068_2of2.jpg). That lets you use a CompactFlash card as mass storage with the TS with a CF-IDE adapter.
