Hi all, just signed up here -

QUICK Intro:
I started out as the Librarian, Secretary, Treasurer then Vice
President (and always clubs hardware Technician) of the Mile High
Timex-Sinclair Users Group back in the '80s - (stayed with club till
it dis-banded in '92) :upgraded to the AMIGA around '86.

Back around '86 I built an internal hard disk (40mb 9mm laptop drive)
and interface into one of my 2068's under the game door (removing the
game socket from the motherboard and mounting it ON TOP of the door).
Also installed an internal RGB interface for a real monitor.
{{and built one for the AMIGA too - $1800 for a 20Meg SCSI HDD at
the time I thought was insane - when I could get an MFM/RLL HDD for
$200}}....

I still have a bunch of rev-2? romsets (fixed memory bank switching,
networking and some other issues...).
{or is there any newer versions I need to know about}???

I think I still have my entire ZX-81/2068 Library tape copies around
here somewhere too - if anybody needs anything. I also wrote a 64k
(Memotech Ram) program for my ZX-81 with ZON-X80 sound "card" and a
Speech Synthesizer to play music and SING simultaneously....
(but that's ANOTHER story for another time)....

It's been a while for the Sinclair stuff, but I'll help in any way
(If I can (remember) ;)

I was recently thinking of pulling the Timex stuff out, dusting it
off and integrating it to my HAM radio equipment (have an old 2068
modified ZX-81 8 port relay board around here that I need to use in a
project anyway)

I'm currently the VP of the Rocky Mountain Amiga Users Group
(yes - we're still alive and kicking)....
if anybody is interested in anything.......

ANYWAY, thats my story and I'm sticking to it.....LOL
