Hello there.

I'm Mister Beep and I'm new on the list.
I'm a fan of Timex machines and owner of Timex 2048.
I use it for making music (chiptunes and digital music based on samples).

That's my first letter here, so I just wanted to say "hi". ;)

If you're interested in my work with my beloved Timex machine,
you can visit my site http://mister_beep.republika.pl/

Exact address for music and some music-programs is here:

Best wishes to all
(and to Bruno, who invited me here :) ).

Welcome aboard! I know this takes away from the authenticity of the
experience, but I was wondering if you'd be able to create a movie
file of the demo and its music for those of us that don't have the
hardware anymore or can't run emulators?

The snapshots look pretty cool!

Many thanks. :)

For now I have only one thing recorded on video (not on my YouTube account though) and it is a cover of Tangerine Dream electronic music band.
The cover has 3 channels (2 tones plus drums) and it uses only native sound setup of TC2048: Z80&ULA chips. It is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYBVzgr6LGA
However all the music is also recorded from real Timex machine in my "music" corner, mentioned before.
I'm not sure if it works also on plain TS2068 (also should work fine on the machine with Spectrum emulator).
If anybody's able to test TAP files from my www site on TS2068, I would be grateful for such an experiment. :)
Btw, I hoped to buy a 2068 today but I hadn't enough of money as there will be an 8-bit computers meeting "Forever" this weekend and I want to attend. Therefore I will have to wait for another opportunity to get TS2068 and one more Timex in my collection (for now I have two 2048 machines but one is rebuilt - 192Kb of RAM + ZX Spectrum 128 compatibility).
