1. IDE harddisk simulation for Warajevo
Jarek Adamski · Thu, 15 May 2003 15:04
Hi!
I've made the harddisk simulation under Warajevo.
So, I have now the ZXATASP emulation.
Also, I'm going to release the CPM22UPB, this is
CP/M 2.2 that uses TC2068/TS2068/UK2086 hires mode
and 32kB RAM in EXROM and harddisk.
Yarek.

It is available at http://zxvgs.yarek.com on the Download
page.
I used it in 2000 with IDE ports of emulator mapped to IDE
secondary ports of PC. :-) Now there's a support for .HDF
files, so is much safe and doesn't require dedicated
preparation od the HDD (i.e. making CP/M partition).
The .HDF file is generated by QTRANS.EXE and has fixed
structure 198/5/17. The CP/M patition has 8330kB.
The YAMOD.ATBUS used as IDE interface provides IDE ports in
#B0..#BF area and makes the neccessary multiplexation of
data port (#B0).
In next CPM22UPB release I'm going to support IDE interface
made with 8255 PIO in #1B, #3B, #5B and #7B ports. It is
much easier to build.
Yarek.
