I've just received 3 bare PCBs that belongs to the JLO.
1 Printer
1 Cartridge
1 Disk B Rev A
I must have to thank to the person that made possible that I have these
things now.
I think 2 PCBs are missing, a bus expander that is easy to make and the
Floppy interface
My idea is to reprocuce them using EagleCad and make them available in
this forum.
The cartridge is very simmilar to the already reproduced in
http://hardware.speccy.org/hardware/Cartucho-TS2068(II).html
<http://hardware.speccy.org/hardware/Cartucho-TS2068(II).html>
Do somebody have thechical documentation (schematics as least) of this
interfaces or where i can find them?
Thanks in advance,
Eduardo.

I would recommend being careful doing this as John Oliger is still in business, or was the last I heard.

Thanks Jack,
I was trying to get his email address or something to ask him about my idea, but I was unable to succeed on that.
Do you know how to communicate with John Oliger?
I'll don't go to publish anything until I have a positive confirmation from his part.
My only question is if I can't contact him, what can I do? I don't want to obtain profits with this, my intention is to preserve this hardware and make possible that everyone can build it as a DIY project.
Another thing that a was forgetting, I want to populate my PCBs, for that I need a parts list, schematics or something useful.
Again, thanks for the warning, I don't want to upset anybody.
Regards,
Eduardo.

I have tried in the past(4 or 5 years ago) to contack him to try to buy one JLO Disk system or any info or knowledge about it, but with no sucsess at all.
Last I heard he was doing hardware for IBMPC, but that was more than 10 years ago...
I think he is now retired and away from any hardware thesedays.

Oscar

I just finished the printer interface, user cartridge and bus expansion schematics and PCBs in eagle.
I have one more PCB, Disk B Rev A, can someone take a detailed picture of the component side of this board, I need to see all component names and values.
I don't go to publish them until i am sure that JO is out of business, JO can't be contacted or I have his authorization.
Respect to the Disk A board, are there any info? Detailed pictures are welcome too.
Best regards,
Eduardo.

Hi,
To JLO disk interface owners.
I'm in need of good pictures of the component side of Disk A and B boards.
These boards are too complex to guess the componets.
I want to populate the PCBs that I have.
If someone can take the pictures I'll be very gratefull
Best regards,
Eduardo.
