1. Larken Issue

After digging out a 2068 with Larken drives and hooking it all up...properly the first time, It was tough to remember the codes to catalog the disk which were PRINT USR 100:CAT "", and I got my catalog directory. Tougher still was the command to load an NMI saved snapshot which was PRINT USR 100:LOAD "NMI-S1.CM" CODE. Surprisingly this all worked for a while. Then the drive eject mechanism fouled up and I was gonna switch to a different 3.5in drive. It seems that the "red stripe" portion of the drive ribbon cable has lost its color and I was unable to determine which end of the drive cable to use. So I hooked up the troublesome drive again and upon a disk catalog command, I got a lot of ?????COPYSTICK???...etc. commands displayed onscreen. Does anyone know if this is an indication of a drive error or is something else going on?
Also, upon close inspection, I saw that there is one small male pin missing from the connector edge on the drive where the cable connects. Bottom row, second pin in from the edge. I didnt try any of the 5.25 drives that I have or the 8in. drive yet. This is a 720K drive. Any suggestions?

Crisis Solved! Even found an 8inch drive. If I can find a blank 8inch disk,I'm in biz again.
Seems as though even if the cable is turned around on the drive, iself, the telltale sign is a light on the drive staying on at power supply power up. Switching the cable corrects things. The jumper on the drive had to be set to drive Zero. All worked fine. Many disks read well. Found software on one disk concerning Bank switching and RAM disk settings. Lots of Oliger formatted software, however I don't have the Oliger disk setup. Lots of Morrow Formatted disks as well. Was this the format for the Zebra Drive as well as the Aerco Drives?
