Have fun with your new toy. The first thing you may want to do is adjust the pots in the system to get the color correct again. They tend to be totally wrong after a few decades.

Is there a write-up or video that shows how to do this?
Only other time I adjusted pots on an older 8 bit did not go well, an Atari XEGS. Went from some color to no color. Little leary on doing it again. Could just have been some other issues that caused it but... tj

This video does show the pots, but it doesn't give instructions:

Oh, and when I looked for these old posts, I couldn't believe that it was 11 years ago that I was talking about this color issue. Wow, time sure flies by in this world of ours.

Yeah, don't touch the VR1- at least for me, it's super sensitive and my monitor tends to loose sync with even slight movement on VR1. Fortunately, the PCB is well marked. You may also have to make some adjustment on the monitor in addition to the computer adjustment.
The composite color output of the TS2068 had incorrect color out of the factory... looks like the designers made an error porting the design from PAL to NTSC. The reference color burst is 245 instead of 180 degrees. I did find a way to fix the reference burst, but it does involve modification of the computer and additional circuit to be built, which I know you are not comfortable with.
Other option for output with better color is to use the RGB output that is on the expansion port. You will either need a 15K RGB monitor (rare) or an upscaler board (Search for GBS8200 on ebay, or something similar to it...). You might also need a sync seperator circuit. See page 57 of the Technical Manual.
Good Luck,
Rob

I've read that a CGA monitor will work with the 2068, but that the colors will be wrong because the original CGA monitor "fixes" an issue with the original IBM PC (which output the wrong colors).
