1. New T/S Programms -- Any Ideas

Hello Everyone....

You have all most likely received recent e-mail from Abed asking for
contributions to the upcoming issue of ZQA! As much as I would like to, I
have come to the bottom of the barrel for ideas, programs and material to
contribute.

I am still interested in writing new applications for the T/S 2068 in
HiSoft Pascal. The trouble is I can not come up with any ideas for any
application that I would want for myself. The only thing I came up with is
perhaps a program for creating titles and animations for my home movie video
tapes. The problem has not been that I can't write such a program but that
the video output from the T/S 2068 to the vcr is so poor -- colours that
deviate so far from what they are supposed to be, warped corners, squigelies
and crawlies -- that I would be ashamed to show anyone anything I produced
from it. Perhaps there is a hardware fix for this problem but I am not
gifted with the hardware know-how to do it. To cut to the chase... If
anyone here has a "want" or a "need" for an application that is can be
written in HiSoft Pascal please pass your ideas along. If I can create a
program that is up to specs, I will publish the listings in ZQA! and make
the program somehow available to all.

Thank you all

David Solly

There is a simple circuit for an CGA video adapter from the T/S 2068
explansion port in the Technical Manual. I built one myself. It's ugly as
Hell but get's the job done.
