If you used to frequent ts1000.us, saw what happened and didn't know
where to go next, here it is:
http://www.rwapservices.co.uk/ZX80_ZX81/forums/
A new gathering spot, and some of the usual suspects have already
joined. Get ready to read more about hardware projects, software,
ideas, history, etc.
On a side note, the content of the old ts1000.us bulletin boards has
been preserved. Check the new forum for more details.
If you have .80 or .o files to share, please let us know. ZX80 users
have been looking for support for some time and couldn't find it. The
only ZX80 software page on the net has a type-in, and the ZX80 world
has a list of software that isn't available for download. Maybe this
will change soon.

Bruno,
Thanks for this post. You mention below, "...used to frequent and...saw what happened..." For those of us in the dark please let us know what happened.

Hi Jack! Always a pleasure to 'see' you again.
I was referring to the fact that ts1000.us went down last year, never
to come back. A lot of important topics seemed to be lost and Bill
itself (according to a post by him on c.s.s.) couldn't get anything
out of his backups. The good news is that there are two site-rips, one
made by me in April 2007 (I had forgotten about it), and one made by a
gentleman from the zx81 german site, in October of last year.
According to Bill, he will not 'worry about it anymore'. There is now
a chance to recover all those old topics, pictures, docs, projects, etc.
I proposed the idea of opening a new ZX80/ZX81 English forum, and I
was surprised and happy to see its birth last week. Mike W, Siggi, Sir
Morris, Andy and many other people who are masters of the ZX81 are
joining. I hope will be able to see the German hardware projects
translated to English real soon.
Bruno
