On this past Tuesday , we lost a valuable member of our group who was
in an unfortunate accident at work in Daytona. Eric has helped many of
us in the Timex community and will be sorely missed. I first met Eric
when putting together a Timex jamboree back in '85 in Orlando. He had
amassed probably the largest collection of Timex/Sinclair hardware and
software known to exist including unreleased prototypes which he had
gotten from his uncle who had worked at the Timex computer development
labs in Waterbury, Connecticut. Eric helped me understand the world of
DOS when I got my first 486 computer and was instrumental in helping
many others with computer repairs for their Timex's and of course
PC's.
He was a devoted husband and father of 2 children. Services will be
held on Tuesday Jan 17th at 6:00 pm at Allen Summerfield funeral home
in DeLand, Fl.
We're gonna miss you BIG TIME Eric....
