Hello Everyone...
I have reached a push-comes-to- shove situation at home and I have to
get rid of the hard copies of a number of Timex/Sinclair (mostly T/S
2068) newsletters after I have scanned them all into PDF files.
1. I am offering the originals to anyone who wants them before they hit
the garbage bin.
2. If there is anyone who wants to host them, I will mail him/her a
copy of the PDF files on a CD-ROM.
Zabad
(PS: No, I'm not Lorraine. She's my daughter who changed something on
my account that I can't seem to change back. Any ideas what she might
have done?)

Hey Zabad, if I could get a CD of the PDFs, I'll host them on timexsinclair.org.
Thanks!

Hello Oscar....
I could possibly post them in the group file area but not all of them fit the size constraints imposed here. Now, a certain someone here said that he would host them on his site if I sent him the CD-ROMs but so far he has not sent me the address to where I'm supposed to send them.
I'm making the offer again to anyone to wants the original documents. If I have no takers by July 31st then they are hitting the recycle bin.
Some are probably wondering if I have thought through any copyright issues. I have. Right now, I feel that conserving the information contained in these newsletters and making it available to those who are interested is more important that trying to conserve the original documents that are more than 25 years old and already in deteriorating condition. The organizations and groups that produced them are now defunct so, as I see it, everything is now in the public domain. I have reached a critical push-comes-to-shove situation for space in my small apartment as far as conserving all this paper I have collected over the years, thus, my digitizing project.

I am sure many of you have been aware of the ZX-Matrix and have seen Sami's website but I have just seen Sami's Sinclair videos on YouTube. The awesome ZX-Matrix USB / CF interface plus two Sinclair Laptops he made. Amazing. Great stuff he made. I hope he further develops and sells the fabulous ZX-Matrix interface.
The videos are at:
http://www.youtube.com/user/speccyCookie
I have a feeling the ZX-Matrix would work with the 2068 with the necessary expansion port modification or a twister board.
I wonder how hard it would be to write device drivers for USB add-ons like USB sound cards, Wi-Fi cards, Scanners. There are already plans for USB keyboard, USB mice and USB network (ethernet?) and of course USB memory drivers.
Sami's web address is: http://user.tninet.se/~vjz762w/

I watched this video but I didn't see anything anything on the screen that showed a relationship between the mouse movement and what was on the screen. I watched the video twice. What am I supposed to see move on the screen? Numbers telling about the mouse position? What am I missing?

I'm a little confused. I thought you had a taker for the original
documents? If not, what was the offer again?
Also, I happen to have paid for and use Global Drive for online storage that
I can share, but A Drive is quite good too and free: http://www.adrive.com/
You could always just upload the ISO or the files directly there and share
them. It might save you the hassle of sending it out.

Hi...
I will send you the hard copies: Right now I have the Newsletter for
the Ottawa-Hull T/S user group and vols. 8, no 3 to 12, no 5 of ZXir
QLive Alive! I am not going to split things up. You will have to take
all of a particular title. All I am asking is for a few dollars to
cover the cost of the postage. I will also need an address.
Thank you,
Zabad

Hello Jack...
I want to let you know that I have not forgotten about sending you the newsletters. I have, however, been laid up in hospital for several weeks with heart related problems which have put everything else on hold. I will get the newsletters to you as soon as possible.
Zabad

Hi David,
Soryy to hear that you're laid up. Hopefully things will be normal soon.
Not to worry about the mags ... whenever you're ready is fine. I am very
busy with work and family and have hardly any time left for TSing.
Take care,
Jack
