1. Oliger Board/RGB Output
Paulo Leite · Sat, 17 Sep 2005 00:36
I've been trying for a while now to connect a RGB monitor to my 2068
through the circuit available at one side of the Oliger Expansion
Board, with no success. I have the manual for the Floppy Interface
that uses the board, but not for the expansion board itself.
Yesterday, I found an old product list from the J. Oliger Co. that had
this note after the description of the board: "The use of the RGB
circuitry requires opening your 2068, cutting one trace, and
installing one jumper." (No wonder it didn't work!) Does anyone have
any information about this modification? It seems simple enough, but
without knowing where to cut...
Thanks,
Paulo

I guess the matter is in BRIGHT signal, that is missed on
edge slot. You should free one of edge pins then connect
the BRIGHT there.
Anyway, the RGB should work, but producing 8 colors than
16.
