If anyone has this schematic, I would be interested in receiving it to help me repair the computer. Repeating, the schematic must refer to this MC1377P chip, otherwise I probably already have the information.

Hello,
I have viewed several T/S 2068 schematics from various sources but none refer to the MC1377P 20-pin video encoder chip. The computer I have has this chip and the "English Micro Connection/ COMPUTER 2068" decal on the front. I think it is Portuguese made. If anyone has this schematic, I would be interested in receiving it to help me repair the computer. Repeating, the schematic must refer to this MC1377P chip, otherwise I probably already have the information.
Thank you,
sz

The squematic is for Timex Computer 2068 made in Portugal.
The Timex Sinclair 2068 Squematic I have don't have such chip.

Thanks for forwarding me the information.

Hi there Johnny Red,
The schematic I received from you shows some promise. It refers to the MC1377P chip and a 9V power supply, both of which are used in my computer. I did notice though that there is no reference to the 20 pin 74LS244N & 74LS245 chips (one of each) also found in my computer. The schematic is nicely laid-out and worth more study time. Thanks for forwarding me the information.

The 74LS244N & 74LS245 are both used in Timex Computer 2048 (not 2068).
I've never seen a schematics of it, but the one of TC2068 should be
enough, as these both chips don't really matter (first is used as
almost Kempston Joystick port, second is a buffer). The difference
is also in 74LS32 chip, that decodes joystick address and produces
the same black for color 8, as for 0.

Please upload it in the files from the TS2068 group, here in yahoo groups, so everyone has access to these rare schematics...
Thanks.
