Has anyone here ever replaced the 78L12 voltage regulator in the TS 2068 with a 78M12? This is supposed to clear-up the composite output.

 For a newbie on 2068, I see you're really doin your
homework. Can I assume that the "M" chip wasn't
available back when the 2068 was designed? Reading
