1. ROM Chips

Rich M · Tue, 4 Oct 2011 22:50:

I have been discussing the ROM chips for the TS2068, and in particular the 8K extension ROM. The 8K ROM is supposed to be a 2364 ROM (as used on the ZX81), and I can offer a replacement Flash EPROM plugin for this -http://www.sellmyretro.com/offer/details/ROM_EL-2364_FLASH_EPROM_Chips_%28replacement_for_2364_ROM%29-1847 Oddly though (and this really has me puzzled) the technical documentation for the T2068 implies that this is a 28 pin ROM. The 2364 ROM (at least as used on the ZX80, ZX81, TS1000 and TS1500) was only 24 pin... Does anyone know the reason for the discrepancy and whether one of the Flash EPROM replacements would suit the TS2068 (I don't see why)... Richwww.rwapsoftware.co.uk
