Pianola I think uses Basic for the most part (IIRC it only uses M/C for
the printing)

Does anyone know how to make a ROM or EPROM card that can plug into the cartridge slot or the edge connector in the back so that we can use alternative roms ?

...is finished (and in final testing). This is a replacement ROM for the standard Spectrum. I
mention it here because it includes the SOUND command (syntax compatible but a
different character code) from TS2000 BASIC. I'm just curious as to the existence of
programs in TS2000 BASIC which use the command that could be converted to Sinclair
Extended BASIC. I'm starting with Cyber Zone. Anyone know of any others?

I've seen a couple on the net as well, plus there's a standard PCB layout
on the T/S 2000 Technical Reference IIRC.
Of course to find ready-made PCBs or to pool our resources to get a couple
cheaper would be even better (that way we can make some Spectrum Emulator
roms for the DOCK). Anyone has spare PCBs or is willing to go halves (or
three-way etc) to make some?

I will be using it with the %ROM command on my ZX SPectrum + with ZXCF (i
use the previous version already) for the time being.

I know Alvin does. I'm sure some others do to. I think there may also be a way of switching
the HOME ROM.

As supplied Sinclair Extended BASIC uses the Spectrum 128's port addresses to access the
AY chip. I will be releasing the source though (when it is tidy) so it could be modified to
use the Timex port addresses.
