1. Spectrum emulator cartridges?

Hi,
I recall reading recently that someone was making a batch of Spectrum
emulator cartridges, I've just picked up a TS2068, and would be
interested in getting a cartridge if one is available.
Thanks,
Fred

Thanks in advance for any info.

Hello!
Well, I could design a kind of universal board
for making ROM/RAM cartridges. These would allow
to build:
- ZX Spectrum emulator,
- 16, 32, 64kB ROM in DOCK (LROS, AROS),
- 128kB ROM in DOCK/EXROM,
- 32kB RAM in DOCK or EXROM,
- 64kB RAM in DOCK and 64kB RAM in EXROM,
- ZX Spectrum 128kB emulator (no second screen),
- 512kB RAM in DOCK/EXROM (banked),
- ZXVGS installation (32kB RAM, 128kB ROM).
Perhaps also battery backup and write protection
for RAM (ROM emulation).
I would prefer to make a simple board configurable
at build time than advanced multi-purpose one.
The only problem is the case that could be used.
So I wait for suggestions now.

Jarek,
Very nice device, can't wait to take my 2068 working
like a 128K Spectrum. Don't have knowledge about
computers/electronics - so can't suggest anything -,
but for sure i buy one if you can do it for a
reasonable money (and for sure many others 2068ers
too).
Please, go on!

Well, I have no suggestions for the case, but I'd absolutely be
interested in one or two boards.

Hi,
Please have a look at the files section.
I've added a 600 DPI Scan of the 48K Emulator Cartridge PCB along
with the original bin file for the Eprom.
This can be useful if anyone wishes to put the pcb back to a
schematic and redraw a new one.
Best Regards,
UltraTech
