1. tape2tap utility and Warajevo tape to tap utility -- help needed

Hello Everyone...
A while back I purchased a Toshiba laptop with a Pentium I processor and set it up with DOS 6.2 and loaded Lunter's Z80 Spectrum emulator and also the Warajevo emulator.
My goal was to use the utilities tape2tap and the Warajevo tape to tap utility to convert my tape files into *.TAP files. For the life of me, though, I can't get it to work. I thought it might be my Lunter cassette to PC interface that was the source of the problem but it is able to load programs from tape into both Z80 and Warajevo but it does not work for the above utilities. I am now thinking that it might be a matter that the Pentium architecture is different enough to cause problems even though the laptop is running DOS.
Anyway, any help would be welcome. I'm hoping that it just a matter of a step I've missed rather than a hardware / software issue.
Thank you all for your time and trouble,
Hatul-ha-Zabad

Try to disable the CPU cache at the BIOS. And switch the CPU speed
down, if possible.

Hello Yarek....
Thank you for your help but I don't have a clue about how to do that.

Hi...
I have managed to switch off the CPU cache but have still to find where to ramp down the speed. But even with the CPU cache off, it still does not work.

Hi...
I tried with the CPU cache disabled but it did not help in the least. In fact, I could not get a tape to load from within Warajevo even by using the LOAD "" command until I re-enabled the CPU cache. I have not found anything to slow down the processor speed. Any other suggestions?
Perhaps there is a Windows application that does the same thing?
