1. TC2048 rescued from old storage place

Found this inside an old box at an apartment where no one has lived for several years:

This TC2048 isn't with me anymore. A friend that lives in France received it a couple of days ago and will attempt to "resuscitate" it.
It seems that the previous owner attempted to do something to replace the keyboard ribbon, but not the right way! Only time will tell if there's still life on that board.
On a side note, I plan to re-create the TC2048 and TS2068 keyboard layouts in Photoshop, for those who have cases and keys in need of a face lift.

Jee, it's in a really bad condition.
I'm a Timex great fan so my heart is dying when I see that, heh.

I wish you luck with the machine. You will not be dissapointed, this computer really rules.

Thanks, but this one isn't coming back to me. I have my own TC2048 already, and sold the damaged one for parts/repair.

Not sure yet. I plan to ask for help fixing and creating overlays for the 48K Spectrum, the ZX81 and all the Timex computers. If someone wants to volunteer I'll post the ones I already have (incomplete) for the group to see.
