Did you see the timex cartridge reader (TS1510, the

this one also ts1000, ts1500 cartridges.
Please let you know if you can find them.

I'll take another look and see if the reader was in
the box and get back with you on that...I will make a
list of the exact title of cartridges that there are
as well...

Hey Rory,
Drives do not "just hook up" to a Timex 2068. A drive
interface must be utilized consisting of a disc
controller card and an alternate operating system
employing disc commands as well such as the Larken
system or the Aerco system or the J.L. Oliger system.
Thanks,
Neil

  Bonjour,

If you could make a list of the softwares and books for the
ZX81/Timex1000, I am interested.

I think a list of some type for everything would be great, as well as an
organized way for all of us to bid on this stuff. It's a shame that's all
not really possible, as it sounds like there is some amazing stuff in there!

Hi,

I would be interested in a drive to hook up to a 2068 and a modem (or
some serial device) and term program to send files back and forth to a
PC/Mac.

I purchased a "LarKen" disk drive system from eBay a couple of years
back, though the system works only on and off. The circuit board and
chips are old and likely in need of a good contact cleaning. That
said, when it does work, it works pretty well and came with a duel 3.5
drive set. A clunky-looking homemade circuit board plugs into the
expansion slot, which is in turn plugged into the disk drives.
Additionally, a homemade circuit board set that plugs into the TCC
slot that serves as the "LarKen DOS."

If you do some browsing on eBay for Larken, oligar, or even Timex
Sinclair disk drives, you should find what you're looking for.

Amazing stuff I am sure is there, Sorry I havent been
on lately. I have been busy trying to keep my business
afloat. This was the worst summer I have had in 8
years of being in business. I am sure there is stuff
there that I have no idea what it is. I will inventory
all of the 200pound box of paperback books as soon as
I get my business back on track...I am here checking
my e-mail for the first time in months waiting on ink
to dry on a printing job so that I can fold it...at
least there is something to print....Peace all...
