I would like to welcome two of our newest members who also are two old
friends of mine and the Timex 2068 world. John Oliger, who needs
little introduction from me, is of course one of the premier
developers of 2068 hardware back in the 2068's heyday of the mid and
late 80s. He is also one of the most helpful and interesting people I
have ever had the pleasure of talking to.
John Hammer is a gentleman farmer and computer tech from South Dakota
who is the finest 2068 repair garu I have ever known. His mastery
with a soldering iron and logic probe gave many 2068s new life when
there was no hope. The master of hand soldering SCLD chips on the
mother board and developing optional repair methods when the onboard
hardware had failed was legendary. By the way did I fail to mention
he was and still is one of the best friends I have ever had.
Welcome to you both.

                                             Eric
