Ah. What I meant was the TS 2068 doesn't have a disk drive system that a mortal man can find. How many of these kinds of devices were sold "back in the day?" Aren't they REALLY rare? The FDD3000 wasn't released in the states, or did Zebra rebrand it for the States like they did some other hardware?

This would be the ideal solution if it could somehow be adapted for TS2068
use: http://www.rwapsoftware.co.uk/spectrum/spectrum_storage.html . Mine
won't be arriving for another month, but it's obviously not intended for
that machine. It's a shame too, because I have similar devices for other
systems and it makes like much easier. It would be a particular godsend in
this case due to the TS2068's lack of easy-to-procure disk interfaces (in
fact, I've seen maybe two in years of looking on eBay, one of which I was
lucky enough to land for myself)...

Good evening all.
I understand that the DivIDE Plus can in fact be used with the TS2068, but you would need an adaptor "twister". Now I presume that these are not too common - would there be interest in getting some made (and does anyone have a schematic?)

Zebra Systems imported from Portugal, Timex FDD and FDD3000 systems
and sold them in the US.
Zebra FDD boxes were Silver just like TS2068 and FDD3000 with a Zebra
sticker just covering the word TIMEX.
Zebra FDD user manual was a copy of Timex FDD user manual with all
references to Timex erased.
First units need a twister board because the interface that connects
the computer with the FDD/FDD3000 was Spectrum/TC bus compatible.
Then Zebra made a interface that do not need the twister board.
TMX Portugal was about to export the TC2068 (they called it "The
Silver Avenger") and the FDD/FDD3000 to the US. But then every thing
was moved to Scotland and it died.
If they are rare in the US I don't know, in Portugal, a silver FDD
system is VERY rare (I only found a 3" disk drive in Silver box) and
someone reported to me that a silver controller exists in Portugal.
The rest of FDD systems are black.
Je
PS: the FDD and FDD3000 systems were exported to Poland to
UNIPOLBRIT. First they sold the FDD in their original boxes, but
later they made a "all in one" with only one drive. TC2048 and TC2068
were exported too. UNIPOLBRIT made a second version of TC2068, the
UK2086 (Unipolbrit Komputer 2086. The 86 is not an error, it's
because they made it in 1986).
