Up on ebay there is someone claiming to sell a Timex 2000 (2000 was the
name for the TS2068 before it actually was put out, there are a pile of
books with that name that were released before the machine was out); I'd
never heard of this before, could anyone confirm or not what it is?

This is strictly Timex/Sinclair 1000 stuff. There is nothing "2000" about
anything he is selling.

Although not too many people are aware of it there were some "Americanised"
ZX Spectrums sold in Canada. As far as I know, they were sold with a
modified power supply and the UHF video modulator replaced with a VHS one.
Otherwise, they looked just like a regular Speccy one sees in the British
magazines of the time.
