Anyone have any idea what became of the TS1000 store displays that
Timex had down at your local drug store back in 1982/3? I remember
the one at my local store had a 1000 and a TV or monitor so that you
could play around with it. The program had a little ditty about the
Space Shuttle and another part where you could enter your favorite
recipe and tell the program to to let you know how many ingredients
you needed for dinner for 150! The program was on an eprom in a
board that attached under the computer (out of sight) in the
display. There was also a "flip chart" that had information about
some of the 1000 programs available at the time.
It would be sorta cool to see one of those things again....or have it
for a conversation-piece in your living room. Well, maybe that's a
stretch....
