1. Timex literature and software preservation project?

If you visit www.worldofspectrum.org you'll see that there's a permits
section, showing if authors authorize us to scan, copy and share their
material. Is there a similar list just for Timex Sinclair material?
Can the software section of this group be considered the software
preservation project? I already got permissions from Mr. Dave Ahl
(Sync magazine) and Mr. Lionel Bender (Make your own robots for the ZX
Spectrum). Now I'm looking for Mr. C. Vernon Tidwell and Mr. Ron R.
Ruegg (authors of 'Sprites 2068') and Mr Joe Williamson (author of
'The Best of Sum'). I would like to make tzx files and scan more
material, but need some help finding the authors, or replies from
members of this group saying if they authorize (or not) their material
to be scanned and copied for preservation purposes. I want to share,
but I can't do it without permission from the authors.
Thanks.

Finding all the authors may be a challenge. I've, for the most part,
scanned stuff up and put a notice that if there is any objection to
having the material posted that it will be removed immediately.

Wasn't Mr. Johnson the collector who passed away due to an accident?
No, that was Eric Johnson.
I can host the scannned docs on the timexsinclair.org site if you'd like.

Thank you for replying. All my attempts to find Mr. William M. Johnson
have failed. I should be uploading a Quarters newsletter soon, both in
pdf and jpgs. And I will add that note too. Right now I'm preparing
'How to build your own robots' for the ZX Spectrum, and I got
permission from the editor. It has been scanned but I still need to
rotate and adjust some of the pages. I was going to upload the book to
w.o.s., but if someone thinks it should be sent to the group, I will
do that as well.
