Are there any 2068 users in the UK still? I have only ever seen one
machine for sale on eBay in this country.

Alan,

I have assembled a reasonable collection of 2068s here in the UK, both
Timex Sinclairs and Timex Computers.

Richard

Oh, yes Sir, there are plenty of those ! I am still a lover of the Z80 even afterall this Microcontroller stuff ! I build USB peripherals based on the Z80A and  have written a lot Machine level Code programs for the ZX81, the Spectrum 48K, and the Microprofessor.I also built and designed a lot of hardware for the Spectrum including an EPROM Memory programmer with 21 Volt Vpp .

I built and designed a unit to sense types of Coins dropped and display their monetry value on a PC using a Z80A and a USB Module. The PC I progammed in Visual BASIC 6.0 Enterprise Edition.

I have designed and built ISA Cards based on the Z80A too.

I have had a lot of fun with this great CPU and those 2 Sinclair machines !

We are not dead yet ! the flame still burns over here!

              greetings from South Yorkshire, England
