Hi Folks,
I'm new to the group, but wanted to let you know about a project I'm
working on. I'm building a Web site at the URL www.timexsinclair.com.
As you can tell by looking at it, I've just gotten started. I'd love to
get feedback on what's there and suggestions for what's not.
I'm especially interested in making sure I have the specs right for the
TS2068, TC2068 and Unipolbrit 2086.
I don't own either of the latter two.

HI Steve, looked at your site, the interface is very nice and clean.
You've got a little fleshing out to do, but I think you're on the right
track. When I put up my own site (www.timexsinclair.org) I decided to go
with the .org instead of the .com in fear of what timex might say with
regards to its trademark. Definitely put disclaimers indicating that the
Timex name belongs to Timex Corp. You could also ask for permission from
timex.

fwiw - 5 or 6 years ago I corresponded via email with someone at Timex in regards to establishing my web site for Timex computers. at that time I was told that as long as Timex itself didn't get "bashed" (my term) there would be no problem. Long before I made the site public Timex Watch Company employees visited the site and I received an email indicating that Timex had no issues. The correspondence is still available on a dead 486 I still have (computer is dead, but hard drive is still OK). I saved the computer simply because I can still prove that Timex was OK with the site at that time.
