Hello All,
I have posted a few very poorly taken photographs of some of the
items of Eric's collection that I am probably going to be disposing of.
It is my intention to re-take better photos and write full descriptions
of the items in the immediate future. Some of the items, quite frankly,
I am not sure what they are, but probably Timex/ Sinclair related.
These items will be posted here for the group members to view, before
they go on to an online auction, so you will have the first chances at
adding them to your collection. Among the manuals and paperwork and
technical Timex correspondence that came with Eric's collection were
personalized technical notes written in the hand of some of the
pioneers of the periphial developers such as Mr. Oliger, that I would
imagine are quite rare>>>I WILL CONTINUE LATER>>>WHATEVER STICKY KEYS
IS WITH WINDOWS XP>>>BECAUSE I RESTED MY FINGER ON THE SHIFT KEY HAS
TAKEN HOLD AND I CANT GET IT BACK TO NORMAL>>>GEESSS>>>NEVER HAD THESE
PROBS WITH THE TIMEX>>> SEEMS A REBOOT IS IS ORDER MORE SONN PEACE
NEIL

Neil,

If you like I can share all that Eric told me about his collection. We
spoke 3-4 times per year for the last 5 years of his life and he shared a
lot of the secrets he had. Send me a photo off-line and I will explain
anything I can.

Also John Hammer might be able to help, he and Eric also kept in touch.

I sent the guy (Neil, I guess) an e-mail every few months, for a couple years (as well as checking this newsgroup) and I finally got tired of being ignored.

As I remember, on the very rare occasion he would mention the items in the Group, he was always promising to sell them "in the future".

If I'm wrong, though, I would certainly welcome some evidence that the items were actually SOLD and proceeds going to where they rightly belong -- Eric's widow.
