1. TS 2068 Colors not displaying correctly

Hi Chaps,

I seem to remember reading a fix a couple of years ago for when the color goes 'bad' on the TS2068.

Mine is not displaying the correct colors, blue is near black, Magenta is blue, Cyan is green etc. The display is also a little poor and I figured it's related.

Is it simply a case of opening it up and adjusting trimpots or is there more too it? Any help appreciated.

Already helped you on WOS and got your PM. Glad you got it sorted. :)

Most long-time TS2068 users already know that you can adjust all those VRs until you get the right image. It seems it's a common issue with the TS2068s (so I was told).

Hello,
I seem to be having the same problem.
Can you help me with the answer or point to it?
I could not find it on WOS.

Thanks

Luca

Hi,

I was the one Bruno helped. If you open up the TS2068 you'll see 3 trip pots on the lower(ish) left of the mother board marked VR1, VR2, VR3.

It's simply a case of adjusting those with a small screwdriver while you watch the screen until you get the color balance correct, as there are 3 that might take a while to get it 'just right'.

I have two of them. One displays color correctly while the other has the colors shifted. I have heard it said that NTSC is an acronym for Never The Same Color.
