Warajevo works very well under Windows 95/98.

Hi Paulo,
I found EightyOne - THE Sinclair Emulator for Windows on http://www.chuntey.com/eightyone/
I think it is very cool!
I'm thinking to convert games on tap or tzx to mp3, do you have any idea about it?
Thanks
Mauricio

Mauricio,
the first one that comes to mind is Warajevo. It is DOS-only, I think
it doesn't work at all in Windows. You can find it at

I have a Mac so have not used it, but EightyOne
<http://www.chuntey.com/eightyone/> claims to emulate the TS2068 and many
others and is a modern Windows program.

Bad idea. MP3 is lossy; that could result in corrupted data. If you're
trying to save space, you might be better off using WAV, and just
switching to 8-bit, mono, and a lower sampling rate.
But, the best way is to generate the (full-quality) WAV-style audio only
when needed, directly from the pure data files to the sound card. (Even
better is to get a disk drive for your Sinclair, or use an emulator.)

Hi William
I will test it on WAV format...I'm not shure that my mp3 player can play WAV files...
Thanks

There is a new windows ts2068 emulator out called
EightyOne which can be found here:
http://www.chuntey.com/eightyone/
The Spectrum emulation and ZX81 emulation is
very accurate and the author has done his best
with the TS.

That's what I thought too but it turns out the lossiness on
the loading signal is not too bad. In the UK they seem to
be having a lot of success:
