Neil, if you can get a photographic catalog of his collection and
another other text based info, I'd like to honor Eric's memory by
hosting it on the timexsinclair.org website.
Kind regards,
L

I have gotten a call from the widow of the late Eric Johnson, known
here as Old Man Time, who has asked me to help her inventory Erics
extensive Timex collection and post the inventory here in hopes that
anyone interested might obtain something for their collection. The
inventory will take place next weekend and the post here will soon
follow. Anyone interested may contact me through this site for further
arrangements. Eric made a post in April or May of last year on this
groups message base of a lot of his collection. I do not have the
exact message number in front of me at this moment. Keep checking back
here for my next post if you are interested. Thank you to all who
expressed sympathy on the untimely loss of such a great guy.
Peace
Neil C.

It's always sad when we lose a member of a group,
especially one as small and close-knit as this one. As
others have said, he will be missed.

Good luck with that. Let me know when/if/how you'd like to coordinate
creating the subsection of the website dedicated to Eric's collection.

joe schmoe · Sat, 6 May 2006 14:15:

I picked up many boxes today and cannot make the next
trip for the other 3 or 4 for at least 4 more weeks.
So far , glancing into the boxes, there are chips,
sockets for chips, in drawers all labeled...input and
output hardware for repairing T/S machines,
replacement membrane keyboards and ribbins for the
TS1000's, more than a dozen 2068's, which I will need
to fire up and check out before I put them up here for
sale, only 3 in original boxes, a couple of Timex
joysticks, several 2050 modem boards, many cartridges
for the 2068, seemingly every cassette software title
for the 1000 and some for the 2068 unopened.Something
that may have been the Oliger/Larken board combo...not
too sure...a Zebra Disk Drive or two... a 100pound box
full of books on the T/S machines, several thermal
printers - a couple of Spectrums - circuit boards for
the RAM packs -a ZX printer in its original
box....waaayyy too much stuff to try to remember from
a glance, but, I intend to catalogue all of it and
make digital photos for uploading -Will get back to
you soon.
Neil
