The last one I believe sold for around 58.00 so with the tape, 80-120 would be the price range.
I ship from the East Coast where I live to 90210 and use that shipping cost as the baseline, basically same method as Robert.

You are new at ebay. You started your auction with a price that is higher than what anyone recently paid for that item, so you are unlikely to get any bids. You also might consider shipping by parcel post instead of priority, because in farther zones the shipping price can get really steep and those people will not bid for it. I usually figure a shipping price for zone 8 on smaller packages, 5# or under, and make that my shipping price for that. If the winner is closer, then I make a little bit on shipping, a couple dollars on average. For larger packages, I do cost plus to cover my packing materials and the fact I must drive 3 miles each way to mail a package.
One other thing, when you are planning on listing something be sure to sign in and search for completed listings of that item so you have an idea what people have recently paid. It will give you an idea of what to expect, and you will know not to start your listing too high and not get any bids. I hope you find a decent home for your 2068, and that my advice helps.

Hi Mark!
When you say "tape drive", do you mean the cassette player in the small box (pictured on your Ebay ad), or are you really selling one of those microdrive, tape-based drive that are so hard to find?
Thanks,
Stephen Young

Ebay has a built-in shipping calculator. It has the prices for all things UPS or USPS, and the buyer can just enter their zip code to figure out
the postage (or log into ebay if they have an account). It works pretty well for me.
Christopher.
