Hello Jody,
Yes, the signal from a US TS-2068 is compatible with US TV's if your TV
has
a Video Input jack. Just plug in an RCA terminated cord to both
input/output.
I have used it many times with my Sony.

2. TS2068 -to- Sony TV

Hello!
I just pulled my 2068 out of a box and I'd like to hook it up to my
32" Sony TV, which has RCA jacks on the front. The 2068 also has
one for video output. The connectors are the same but that doesn't
necessarily mean the signal is compatible with the TV. What would I
need in the middle?
Thanks!

It does in this case. This is an entirely standard composite video jack,
which can be found on monitors/TVs, VCRs, cameras, and other video
devices.
Some TVs nowadays also use RCA jacks for the unfortunately-named
_component_ video, but it should be easy to distinguish those. They're
never on the front, anyway. _Composite_ video is the most basic and
commonplace interface, except for RF.

A cord.

Jody,
there are two output RCA jacks on the ts-2068, one is
for use with an "RF" adapter which would then tie in
to two terminal screws on the tv where the antiquated
rabbit ears would connect. The other RCA output on the
2068 is a composite video out which would go to a
composite video input on the tv. Check your owners
manual on the tv to see whether or not your tv will
accept a composite video input. The composite video is
much clearer than an "rf" signal. Hope this helps.

Yep, the composite-out port worked fine. Got a picture right away.
Had a good chuckle...never seen a "K" prompt that big before (13"
was the largest TV my father would let me hook my TS up to). :)
