They're are now on their way to me. :) Once they arrive I will e-mail all those who waited patiently for their twister board and explain what happens next. Thank you for waiting!

Preliminary tests with fuse-emulator indicate you should be able to connect your TS2068 to the Internet using a combination of the twister board, SpectraNet, and a Spectrum emulator cart. Unfortunately the SpectraNet firmware doesn't support the Timex ROM at present.

How exactly would the twister board allow one to connect to the internet, and what about the video refresh rate? Wasn't that an issue in the past? and you will still need a modem, correct?

SpectraNet enables you to connect a Spectrum to an ethernet router.
http://spectrum.alioth.net/doc/index.php/Spectranet
A twister board enables you to connect Spectrum peripherals to a TS2068,

Video refresh isn't relevant. No modem is required if you have broadband.
5. TZX FILE.... VALID PROCEDURE?
Luis Alberto D'Ardis · Thu, 25 Aug 2011 16:08
Hi to all!!! ty in advance, please, wanna know if this procedure to make
a tzx is a valid one, i did a capture of a cassette with a simple
program to make a wav from mic miniplug, then with the 16bit wav i have
used de wav2tzx program this way.
./wav2tzx ./wavfile.wav ./tzxfile.tzx
ok, there is no LOADING ERROR when my tzx is loaded into an emulator
PROGRAM WORKS.
i did this procedure wih a tape "zx spectrum scalextric" and now the
tape loads perfect in my fuse emulator.
is this a valid procedure for "zx AND timex sinclair tapes?"
is this working tzx a perfect tzx file? TY.
cheers.

Hi there. If it works then it should be ok, but if you want to be sure you should send it to one of us so we can take a look at it for you. You could also host or upload it somewhere.
P.S. You do know that you replied to the twister board topic instead of creating a new one for you right? :)
So, I'm now correcting the topic title and continuing the topic that I started. :)
/on-topic:
Twister boards have now arrived! I will be sending an e-mail to all those who are on my list. Expect an email from me in the next few days.
