I'm still trying to get RGB out of it but still have issues. To use with a
GBS8200 or a 15Khz monitor.

I recently found Richard Atkinson's website about the switchable TX2068/ZX
Spectrum and thought I would make a comment and ask a question.
I acquired one of these a while back and in order to get Spectrum
compatibility, I found a ROM from the "TS2048" and burned that to replace
the "home" ROM. I didn't bother to do anything with the "EX" ROM, it's
still in place. The 2048 ROM is 99.9% a Spectrum ROM, with only a small
patch to the startup code to send the OUT255,0 (like Richard's patch
does).
I didn't cut any traces, lift any pins, or anything- a 27256 (doubled up
2048 ROM) just worked fine without modification. I get full Spectrum
compatibility and it boots every time. Is there a problem with this
"hack"?
I didn't understand in the manual why it wants you to mod the board and
tie pin 1 to 28... Pin 1 is programming voltage, which isn't needed. Maybe
the other mods are only for the EX ROM being swapped for EPROM?

### Because it is an Eprom, when not programming pin 1 have to be at 5V.

Ah. I think from your prior messages you said you put a 2048 rom into your TS 2068 and that made the divMMC work for you?
Does the divMMC work with the stock 2068 rom?

You have to replace the original otherwise it wont work. Even with emulator cartridge

Sorry for the confusion, all. I don't recall if mentioned: there's a jumper on the board that switches between Spectrum ROM and SE Basic:
