I just ran across some articles discussion the Unipolbrit 2068, a polish
version of the TS2068 that included a Spectrum ZX Emulatior Cart. Does
anyone have info as to the history of this computer? Anyone have one?
Look real neat in black. :)

I have one. Also, I upgraded one to 144kB. One waits
for upgrade and one I've repaired.

The UK2086 is just like the portuguese TC2068, so has
ZX Spectrum compatibilie edge slot (with 8 extra pins)
and 50Hz video refreshment.

The speaker is removed, the video chinch socket is
repleaced with DIN socket and the sound line is there
also.

Also, the 16kB PROM (HOME) is repleaced with 16kB
EPROM and a 74LS00 gate is added to provide correct
/CS signal.

In some exemplares the right hand joystick socket is
repleaced with male DB15, connected to 8255 PIO and
this is called "Centromix" interface. No software
support in the ROM as I know.

The "Emulator ZX Spectrum" cartrigde has 16kB EPROM
with ZX Spectrum 48kB ROM upgraded with some extra
features.

Yarek.
