There is some UK2086 information on the website link below (at the bottom
of the information about Timex FDDs). It was a clone of the TC2068. The
info there may help answer the last question below....

I just ran across some articles discussion the Unipolbrit 2068, a polish
version of the TS2068 that included a Spectrum ZX Emulatior Cart. Does
anyone have info as to the history of this computer? Anyone have one?
Look real neat in black. :)

This site have detailled pictures of UK2086!
I think that Unipolbrit Komputer 2086 was design before the move of
Timex Computer Technology from Portugal to Britain.
This is a bit treaky to find out but, in 14 May 1987 Timex of Portugal
speaked about TC3256 to a newspaper.
Lets see:
Before the move of Timex Computer Technology (TCT) from Portugal to
England, the english Timex factory was having lots of problems with TC
mainboards.
In May 1987, Timex of Portugal talks about TC3256.
Later, TC3256 vanishes, and TCT is moved to England.
So UK2086 is a TC2068 modified computer. I have never seen the back of
UK2086, but this one have a DIN socket for the monitor instead of the
RCA socket. Maybe it have already the RGB signals in that DIN socket
just like the Sinclair 128K Spectrum. Only one joystick port. Some
sources said that Unipolbrit modified the second joystick port to be a
centromix printer port in a DB 15 male socket connected to a 8255 chip.

There's only video signal as in the original socket
connected with wire to pin 1. The ground is pin 2.
Sound goes to pin 3 from the point the AY sound is
joined with speaker sound (also wire). The socket
looks like dedicated for Neptun 156 monitor.

I have a neptun 156 monitor.
But my cables are a RCA and a mono jack (computer) at a end of the
cable and in the other end a DIN with 3 pins (monitor).
