Yes, that's me all right. It's a pity that he used my book as an example
since it wasn't an appropriate one to use in this particular instance, but
at least I had the opportunity to set the record straight.

PErhaps by video game history people instantly assume consoles? I have not read any of the books, but if I was to write one my focus would be on consoles instead of computers, maybe unfortunate, but a computer is a machine which can do more then video games, of course some of them existed primaly to play games on, the C64 and the ZX spectrum for example, but I wouldn't call them "video games" that would be almost downgrading the machines itself...

Dunno, I guess what I'm saying is that I can see why somebody would leave out computers as part of a "video games" history book.

They often do, but on the contrary, I find that the two are inseparable,
with intertwined histories and crossover games and influences.
