1. ZX81 SEPTEMBER PROGRAM

"THE WOLF AND 5 LITTLE GOATS" is here!
In this month's program, you will recognize the graphics of
Stafford
White. Everything is neat and in windows. Window for the score,
window
for
the title, window for the dialogue box, window for the play field and
window for the info.
My part of the work was to re-write the code from A to Z to get
faster
speed on the ZX81 and T/S 1000. Remember, all the programs I have
released
since March 2004 are written with the Sinclair basic language of the
ZX81.
They look like hi-resolution, but they are not. They run like machine
code, but they are not. And that is why they are called:
UNBELIEVABLE.
Included, you will find pictures of the colorful "line 9990" of the
programs. This line contains all the basic info about the program.
"THE WOLF..." is a game of strategy. You are the wolf trying to
steal
goats in the field. But the goats can also strike back by jumping on
you,
so you must be vigilant in your approach. The dialogue box informs
you
of
your progress. At the end of each game, you have the choice of 1)
Playing,
2) Looking at the info or 3) Quitting. The computer keeps the wolf
and
the
goats scores until you quit.

"IZXOLA" is a great strategy game from my new series of programs.
Each
player has a man and some walls. Your man moves one square at a time
in
any direction. A wall can be placed on any free square but can not be
removed. You must block completely your opponent while he tries to do
the
same to you. See the screen pictures of the game. In the pictures,
you
will recognize "YOO", the hero of "ZXOKO-BAN" who did all the job of
pushing the boxes. On a ZX81 or a T/S 1000, the checkered board is
clearly
seen as two different shades of grey which do not appear with most of
the
emulators.
ANDRE*** will reveal his "ALIEN MIND" in March 2006!
Goodby(t)e, ANDRE***
